Heal through shared experience.
Group Therapy
Connect with others in the cancer community, normalize your experience, find solace.
How we’ll meet:
Meetings will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM via zoom for a total of 6 sessions.
Cost:
The cost is $40/week for six-weeks. The full amount is billed upfront after completing your free 30 minute consultation and receive acceptance.
Eligibility:
This group is open to anyone regardless of gender identity or treatment status (survivorship or active treatment). This group is not currently open to couples. You do not need to be in a partnered relationship to attend. You must be over 18 years of age, there is a limit of 8 participants.
Group Goals:
The purpose of this group is to help you reconnect with your sexual-self post or during cancer. We do this by learning about the impact of treatment on sex organs, understanding how our body might be open to pleasure, and acknowledging the profound emotional toll cancer takes on us. I use a combination of psychoeducation and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my sessions. Some topics in my syllabus include desire/libido, communication, reconnection with partners, body image and more.
